Reformers Take Ground

We heard the Lord say, “Reformers take ground, but in order to take ground in the natural, you must first take ground in the spirit.”

As Kingdom Reformers—you can’t answer the cry for justice, nor the cry of sex trafficking, without first taking ground in the Spirit.

The battle cannot be fought with natural, worldly principles. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”

So how does a Kingdom Reformer take ground in the Spirit first? Here are three ways to take ground.

  1.  Intercession. As believers, fighters for justice, and a voice for the voiceless, we must begin in the place of prayer. We raise our voices to the Father, petitioning Heaven to move on behalf of these victims of sex trafficking. In your daily personal encounters, bring The Justice Reform and the women who will be coming in to The Residence to the Lord. Ask Him to ready their hearts, soften their minds, and prepare a way for each one to encounter Him and His deliverance power, and walk into full freedom.

  2.  Holiness is essential. These women have come from extreme circumstances, having encountered wicked people doing wicked things. It’s important that our continual cry as reformers is, “Make me like You, Jesus. Make me holy.” Let us behold the glory of God and continue reflecting His glory. The more this becomes our heart’s cry, the more we begin to look like Him—staying consecrated and set apart. This is vital because these survivors need to meet people who are set a part for the kingdom. They need consecrated people to walk alongside them who are walking on the narrow path, with a heart to please the Lord & submitted to Jesus.

  3. Keeping your first love on the throne of your heart. Kingdom Reformers are steadfast in their love for Me. They love what the Lord loves and hate what He hates. You cannot reform what God doesn’t love, and you cannot reform what God doesn’t hate. But you won’t know what He loves or hates unless you know Him. The emphasis here is on keeping your first love fire alive. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus to you and to show you His character and nature through Scripture.

Many times we get caught up in doing for God that we forget in order to reform with great excellence and intentionality, we must keep the Man Jesus at the center of our hearts. Intimacy is key to being a great Kingdom Reformer. Matthew 6:33,” But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”

Ask the Lord in your daily personal encounter how you’re stewarding these three areas, and ask Him if there is any one area in particular that could be done more intentionally!

Happy Reforming!

THE GOD WHO SEES

The God who sees. His name is El Roi.

When you’re seen through the world's lens, you’re not seen pure, you're not seen rightly. But when you’re seen through my eyes, when I breathe upon you, my Ruach, the old passes away, and the new comes(2 Corinthians 5:17), layers fall off. When I breathe upon you, the old cannot stay.. When I breathe upon you, scales fall off, when I breathe upon you, eyes are opened, when I breathe upon you, ears are opened. There's a process to seeing yourself rightly, & it's found by looking into the eyes of the one who sees, and His name is Jesus. Who is the one that sees? He is strong, and mighty in battle(Psalms 24:8-10), The one who sees, has no darkness within Him. The one who sees, is light. The one who sees is Holy, perfect, and there is no perverse way within Him. When you stand before that King, The One and Only King, He will put His fire on you, & when you lock eyes with Him & His gaze comes upon you, everything unholy must go. You cannot look into the eyes of This King, and not be radically transformed by Him. He will search you and know you(Psalms 139:23-24), and He will expel, cleanse, heal, move, expose, love, and shift the old because Daughter.. YOU have been bought with a price. He didn't just bleed out on a cross for you to stay the same, He calls you beloved, an heir, & the righteousness of Christ Jesus(2 Corinthians 5:21). You, Daughter, no longer cry as an orphan does, you dance to The Truth that you now are singing, you get to cry, ABBA FATHER.. COME! You are His, and He is yours(Hebrews 13:5). Don't worry, Daughter, He isn't going anywhere, Where He has you is where He wants you. When you let Him breathe upon your life, you will find yourself seeing yourself rightly, because you've found yourself with eyes locked with a Good dad, and He will teach you, and show you everything you need to know by the power of His Spirit. Trust that you are in Good Hands, now. Very, good hands. The best, most delicate and powerful hands out there.

So, Daughter..

Are you ready to be transformed? Go..Child, and lock eyes with your King.
